Dual Plate Swing Disc Check Valves
Double-leaf check valves (analogues of valves 19h21r) of flange connection, cast iron, are designed for installation on pipelines in order to prevent the flow of the working medium in the opposite direction and to protect against hydraulic shocks. Double-leaf check valves are manufactured with nominal diameters Dn50, Dn65, Dn80, Dn100, Dn125, Dn150, Dn200, Dn250, Dn300, Dn350, Dn400, Dn500, Dn600, Dn700 with nominal pressure Pn16 kgf/cm2 (1.6 MPa), used on pipelines conducting liquid media with an operating temperature of up to +110 °C. The principle of operation of the valve is as follows: when the flow of the working medium is reversed, the valve closes, thereby stopping the reverse movement of the medium. Two stainless spring-loaded flaps are used as a locking element in these valves. The valve is installed in horizontal and vertical positions with an upward flow, and in vertical with a downward flow for DN < 150. When installed in an upright position, the opening direction of the flaps must correspond to the direction of fluid movement. The valve is mounted on the pipeline by clamping between two flanges of the corresponding diameters.
